You can be certainly confident when you are shopping with Bag Central. Our Secure Server encrypts your credit card information ensuring your transactions are private and protected.
We accept orders only from Web browsers that permit communication through Secure Socket Layers (SSL) technology. All purchases are protected by a fully-secured of up to 256-bit SSL server. This means you cannot inadvertently place an order through an unsecured connection.
Bag Central is secured by GeoTrust. We also do not store your credit card details.
Privacy
Bag Central understands and shares your concerns about how personal information is collected, used and shared. Bag Central wants to assure you that we will always handle your personal information securely and carefully. Bag Central will comply with all applicable Australian privacy laws and make Bag Central's staff aware of their obligations.
The purpose of this Privacy Statement is to inform you about the types of information we collate online about you when visiting Bag Central ("our Site"). This includes the choices you have regarding our use of this information and your ability to make changes. This statement clearly will show what information is collected and under what terms we are permitted by you to share that information to third parties. This Privacy Statement may change from time to time, so please check back periodically. This Statement will explain the following regarding the treatment of data collected on our Site:
1. What Personal Information does Bag Central collect?
The types of personal information that Bag Central records will depend on your usage of Bag Central's site. If you carry out a transaction online or send us an email, Bag Central will record information that may differ from the information Bag Central collects if you simply visit Bag Central's site.
- Purchasing products or services:
If you purchase products or services or apply to become an Bag Central member, Bag Central requires you to provide certain details so that we can establish an account and provide you with the product or service. Bag Central requires this information to help us process and manage your account.

You can use the online forms for a number of other purposes such as to request further information about other Bag Central products and services. - Navigation Information:
Each time you visit Bag Central, anonymous navigation information is collected by Bag Central's servers. This information includes:
- the type of browser and operating system you are using;
- the address of the referring site (i.e., the previous site you had visited) and the website you leave Bag Central's site to visit;
- the date and time of your visit;
- your server's IP address (a number which is unique to the machine; IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.); and
- the address of the pages you accessed.
This provides Bag Central with information about how the web site is used and navigated, including the number of hits, the frequency of visits and the duration of visits to each web page on the site. It does not personally identify individual users unless the user has previously elected to identify themselves by submitting personal information.
- In addition, Bag Central, like many others, uses cookies. A cookie is a piece of information that the website sends to your browser and is stored on your hard disk. A cookie helps to identify your browser to the website when you return to visit the site and identifies the previous requests your browser has made. This allows the site to be tailored to you on your return visits. Cookies cannot identify you personally. Some of Bag Central's business partners may use cookies on Bag Central's site (for example, advertisers). However, we have no access to or control over these cookies.
2. What Happens with Your Personal Information?
The personal information collected from you at this site is or may be used:
- for billing purposes;
- to maintain your account;
- to notify you about other/new services/promotions from time to time;
- to provide customer support;
- in order to provide you with the products, services/information you have requested.
In addition, anonymous navigation information may be used for statistical analysis of the site, for marketing purposes and to tailor the content of the site to the needs of Bag Central's members. Statistical information is not disclosed in connection with your personal information.
3. Sharing your information
We do not sell, trade, or rent to others the personal information we collect from you online. Unless we have your permission, we will share the personal information you provide online only with other Bag Central entities and/or businesses that provide services to Bag Central and only for the purposes described above. Where Bag Central engages third parties to perform services on our behalf, we will require them to observe the intent of this Privacy Statement.
Bag Central will share aggregated demographic information with its partners and advertisers. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person.
Bag Central uses an outside shipping company to ship orders. This company does not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.
Bag Central partners with another party to provide specific services. When Bag Central's member signs up for these services, Bag Central will share names, or other contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services.
These parties are not allowed to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing these services.
4. Subscribe/Unsubscribe
Bag Central's members have the choice to unsubscribe of having their information used for purposes not directly related to Bag Central at the point where we ask for the information.
Bag Central's members who no longer wish to receive newsletter or promotional materials about Bag Central's partners may unsubscribe of receiving these communications by contacting Bag Central team. Or by unchecking the relevant promotion(s) from the respective checkboxes from 'My Account' Information.
Bag Central's members are always notified when their information is being collected by any outside parties. We do this so that Bag Central's members can make an informed choice as to whether they should proceed with services that require an outside party, or not.
5. Accessing and changing your information
Once you have registered as an Bag Central member, you may access your account details and correct your personal information, by logging into your Bag Central Customer Account or let us know by sending an e-mail with your name, full mailing address, e-mail address, and relevant information and we will use reasonable endeavours to honour your request.
6. Are personal account details stored safely?
Bag Central takes reasonable steps to ensure the security of personal information held by it from such risks as loss or unauthorised access, destruction, use, modification or disclosure of data. Bag Central only permits your details to be accessed by authorised personnel.
Note: Bag Central does not store credit card details of our customers.
7. Links to other sites
Bag Central provides links on its website to other sites via hyperlinks, banner advertising or otherwise. These sites may have different privacy policies than those of Bag Central and you are advised to check the privacy policies on those sites.
Please be aware that Bag Central are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. Bag Central encourages Bag Central's members to be aware when they leave Bag Central's site and to read the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by this site.
